During the first phase of lockdown period due to Covid-19 pandemic, my movement was restricted to my residence at suburban Kolkata, India. Exploring activities of florae and faunae in the urban water body adjacent to my house gradually became an interesting pass time. In one such day, the morning stroll of a Snakehead Murrel fish while guarding her red fries under bright sunlight was amazing to witness from the roof top. Next day, I was keen to watch the mother peeping out of the water accompanying her fries under a beautiful morning light. I was ready to freeze the radiant moment amidst concentric ripples that resembled circling life. Since then, regular watching of that surveillance stroll continued to be an exciting show till their sudden disappearance due to stepping into adulthood.
